Makaton uses speech, signs and symbols and has been shown to help adults and children who have communication difficulties due to additional needs such as developmental delay, physical or learning disability or autism.
As a Makaton Regional Tutor I provide standardised Makaton workshops to parents, carers, professionals, services and businesses so that they can communicate effectively with people whose communication is impaired.
Training can be commissioned by organisations or alternatively participants can attend open workshops as advertised.
