A Regional guide to Sensory Support Services in Northern Ireland has been launched for people experiencing sensory loss, for their carers and for health and social care professionals who work with people affected.

This educational resource was produced and launched by Belfast Health and Social Care Trust with support from all Sensory Support Teams and the Health and Social Care Board. Contact details of all Sensory Support Teams across Northern Ireland are available at the end of the film.

A Guide to Sensory Support Team Services

There are Disability Teams based in each of the Trust Areas :-

Belfast Trust - Complex Needs Team

Northern Trust - Children's Disability Teams

South Eastern Trust - Children’s Disability Service

Southern Trust - Children's Services - Children with Disabilities

Western Trust - Disabled Children and Young People's Services

Financial Assistance for Families with Disabled Children

Family Fund NI  Helps families with disabled children across Northern Ireland with grants.  Grants can be awarded for essential items including computers, tablets, kitchen appliances, much needed family breaks and much more. Family Fund receives support from the Department of Health.
