Timely Careers is a social enterprise created by The WiB Group which includes Women in Business, Centre of Learning and Diversity Mark.
Our mission is to remove the obstacles, anxiety and challenges that women who want to return to work often face. We will enable and empower women, through training and a jobs board, to get back into work by connecting them to the right support and the right jobs, at the right time for them.
We work closely with employers to create and advertise more skilled part-time and/or flexible jobs to enable more women to return to work, acknowledging that with other caring commitments, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm may not an option for many women.
We promote anything outside of this model and encourage part-time hours, job share, term-time only contracts, compressed hours, nine-day fortnights or working full-time but with greater flexibility in terms of where and when.
Timely Careers is completely free to use and our online employability tools include a CV builder and interview simulator to help returners to prepare to work. We run regular, free events to upskills women and help develop skills in areas such as confidence, communication skills, resilience, CV writing and using LinkedIn to connect with employers and build an online professional profile.
