Belfast Works Connect supports economically inactive people in their journey to developing their life skills with the aim of considering progression in to employment, volunteering or training. With an array of internal OCN options, as well as an extensive external training menu including SIA license training, Childcare and Driving Theory and the ability to purchase bespoke training and provide incentives.
Belfast Works Connect can help participants overcome personal and financial barriers. The initial stages of the journey will involve supporting with barriers such as housing, food banks and childcare to name a few.
Participants will be able to avail of a 1-1 advisor who will take a holistic approach when mapping out a training journey and ensure that participants are being offered suitable, person-centred support.
We are able to support school leavers, primary caregivers of children aged 3 and under, carers, and people who are long-term sick.
