At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future. We work across Northern Ireland, England and Wales.
Through local Dementia Advisers who cover every postcode across the whole of Northern Ireland, Alzheimer’s Society provides advice, support and practical guidance for the next steps as people affected navigate the hardest times of their lives. Information can be provided by phone, email, online or through face-to-face visits. In addition to dementia support, we provide a range of other services, including information programmes, free awareness raising and Dementia Friends sessions, peer support groups and Singing for the Brain (some services are subject to location).
Online information and support is available through factsheets (which can be ordered through our website) and the Dementia Support Forum, and by phone through the Dementia Support Line:
Northern Ireland Team: 028 9066 4100
*Calls charged at standard local rate
**All calls with the Dementia Support Line are recorded for training and quality purposes.
Alzheimer’s Society also fund a variety of dementia research projects and initiatives across the UK to help improve care, understand causes and work towards a cure, as well as lead campaigns to influence the people who make decisions in Northern Ireland and across the UK, including local MLAs and MPs.
