SERVICES

Head Injury Support offers a range of services for adults with an Acquired Brain Injury and their Carers across the Southern Health & Social Care Area.

Head Injury Support Centre, Kildare St, Newry

Monday to Thursday from 11am - 3.30pm, we offer a diverse activity programme for ABI survivors and Carers Friday nights from 8.00pm - 10.30pm we provide a social evening for ABI survivors, their Carers and other family members

On the 1st & 3rd Saturday nights of the month from 7.30pm - 11.30pm, ABI survivors and their partners can come along to a social outing that might include cinema, bowling, meals out etc 

Banbridge & Craigavon Area An activity session from 10.30am - 1.00pm will be provided in this area on a monthly basis for ABI survivors at Brownlow Community HUB, Craigavon 

Armagh Area An activity session from 10.30am - 1.00pm will be provided in this area on a monthly basis for ABI survivors at Dobbin Street Community Centre, Armagh

Dungannon Area An activity session from 10.30am - 1.00pm will be provided in this area on a monthly basis for ABI survivors at The Junction, Dungannon

Other Services Support groups and social inclusion activities for Carers

• Peer to Peer support for those that would like to speak with someone that understands their situation
• Support with accessing community services
• Telephone helpline from 9am - 5pm (028 3083 3728)
• Signposting to other support agencies
