Destined is an advocacy and user led organistaion which provides personal and social skills training and social activities for people with a learning disability to enable them to participate fully in their community. The Destined Rural Development Project aims to reduce the levels of isolation and exclusion experienced by people with learning disabilities living in rural areas.
The Five Circles Project aims to reduce levels of isolation and exclusion experienced by children with learning disabilities and their families, by enhancing access to local communities, increasing skills and learning. The project will deliver a person centred assessment to determine the particular needs of each family and will develop a programme of activities to address those needs.
The project is open to families who have a child under twelve with a learning disability in rural County Derry
