Our regular clinical services include both outpatient and day case clinics for both adult and children. We also provide a consultation service for inpatients both of the Belfast trust and also to other hospitals in the region.
The Immunology Day Centre, located in Ward 34 of the Elliott Dynes building, on the Royal Hospitals site, is a day ward dedicated to the care of patients with immunological and allergic disorders. This facility allows the delivery of high quality, out-patient based management for patients including:
- Immunoglobulin replacement therapy
- Biological therapies for inflammatory diseases
- Allergy skin testing
- Allergy diagnostic challenges
- Allergen desensitisation
The immunology day centre is divided into three main clinical areas. The general ward is primarily used for immunoglobulin replacement therapy clinics. Side wards are available for the purposes of clinical review and infection control. There is a dedicated area for allergy investigation.
