Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. Trussell Trust foodbanks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in the UK. NO FOOD? And NO MONEY to buy any? No one needs to go to bed hungry Personal crisis Sudden job loss Illness Separation Homelessness The Foodbank can provide 3 days emergency food supply Contact Citizens Advice Bureau, your social worker, your Doctor’s surgery, or one of the area’s other agencies like the Salvation Army, the Simon Community or Women’s Aid to discuss your situation. They can give you a voucher to obtain food. If you have a completed foodbank voucher, please bring it to the Food Bank: These are the times when we are open: Open:Tuesday & Friday 10:30am-12:30pm Please note that if you wish to visit a centre to receive food you must first receive a voucher from one of our registered front line care professionals or agencies.
