NOW is a limited company with charitable status which has been operating in North and West Belfast since 2001. We provide quality training and employment services for local people with learning difficulties who often are furthest removed from the labour market. Our aim is to enable local people with learning difficulties to get the job they want and keep it. Over the years we have developed a range of innovative, person-centres services which help participants realise their full potential. These include: An award winning Training Service providing a range of vocational and essential skills based courses An innovative Transition Service working with young school leavers An Employment Service which works with people with learning difficulties and local employers to get the perfect job match A family Service supporting new and expectant parents with learning difficulties. A volunteer Programme to build skills and experience in individuals to support the programmes and services of NOW.
NOW also operates a social enterprise business called Loaf Catering which includes three busy cafes and a corporate catering delivery service. Our Employment service covers the areas of North Down, Belfast, Newtownabbey and Mid East Antrim.
