Sense NI have opened a new after-school service based at our Belfast hub in Belfast; we support children aged 5 to 12. Children can enjoy a wide range of activities tailored to suit individual needs. Afterschool’s supports children who have special needs or disabilities including sight or hearing impairments or deafblind
We have a dedicated team of support workers who use an array of specialised equipment to provide sensory stimulation and enable the children to reach their full potential. We provide a stimulating, life affirming atmosphere where children with complex needs are at the heart of our specialised work. Staff are qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 and staff are experienced in working with children with special needs/disability.
