Additional Information

We provide services across Northern Ireland to help give children and young people the support they need to thrive.

We have service centres in Belfast and Foyle.

We work with children, families and professionals. We support parents and families in caring for their children and provide therapeutic assistance to help children move on from abuse. We also provide help and support through the NSPCC helpline, Childline and our work with schools.

Services available:

InCtrl helps to build young people’s understanding of the risks and benefits of the internet. We work with children aged 9 to 13, using group sessions to build online resilience and promote emotional wellbeing. We also encourage parents and carers to get involved, to help protect their children from online abuse.

Through Letting the Future In, we support children and young people, aged 4 to 17, to rebuild their lives after experiencing sexual abuse. Practitioners work with children in safe therapeutic spaces, doing things like messy play, writing, storytelling and art to help them express feelings they can’t put into words.

Pregnancy in Mind is a preventative mental health service that helps support expectant parents who have or are at risk of mild to moderate anxiety or depression. It uses a range of approaches including mindfulness, active relaxation and peer support. Parents-to-be can attend the programme between 12- and 28-weeks gestation.

Young Witness Service: Being made to go to court can be very scary for a child. Our Young Witness Service supports young people who have to attend court as a witness. The service can reduce the stress they experience, prevent further trauma and help them give the best evidence they can.
