Foyle Child Contact Centre provides a relaxed neutral environment, where parents and children who no longer live together can meet and spend time in each others company in warmth and comfort. 

About our service 

We support families involved in Private Law cases, usually through the services of a solicitor or Family Court. However, we will consider self-referrals from parents who are not currently involved in legal proceedings.

What we offer 

Foyle Child Contact Centre is a warm, welcoming, child-centred environment with a range of play activities. Our activities are planned to respond to the age and ability of the children who attend (0-16 years). Each family has the opportunity to enjoy safe, positive and interactive contact time with the support of our highly trained and skilled volunteers. Foyle Child Contact Centre is able to facilitate Art Therapy sessions for children and adults who are finding the trauma of separation difficult to cope with. Through the medium of art children and adults can explore their feelings in safety. The sessions are delivered by a fully qualified Art Therapist.

There are also healthy refreshments on offer for both adults and children.

There is no charge for the service or refreshments although donations are always welcome. Foyle Child Contact Centre provides child centred environment where a child can meet an absent family member to build a meaningful relationship.

Foyle Child Contact Centre also offers an opportunity for parents to rebuild trust in the best interests of their child.
