Children and young people joining the Creative Futures programme at New Leaf Hub CIC will embark on a journey of creative extra-curricular activities. Our team leaders recognise the responsibility of allowing each child to develop at their own pace in a sensory and diverse environment. We encourage all children, regardless of ability, to find joy in good health, fitness and outdoor exercise. Our challenge is to succeed in promoting each child’s self-belief, through a mindful and creative approach to fun play activities.
We offer:
• Homework assistance (learning support)
• Arts and crafts (art as therapy)
• Outdoor/fresh-air activities (wildlife interaction, nature rambles, conservation)
• Cross-community/inter-ethnic and culturally diverse inclusion
• Learning through play (puppetry, modelling, movie-making, story writing/telling, music making)
• School pick-up (drop-off, if required)
• Parent time-out (opportunity for guardians to have break, arrange meet-ups, shop/work/home)
• Guardians are encouraged to take advantage of facilities and well-being activities outside club hours
