Support for families who require additional support to overcome challenges
The Early Intervention Support Service (EISS) offers short-term support to families with children and young people aged 0–18 years who require additional support to overcome challenges affecting family life, wellbeing, education, behaviour or relationships.
We provide parenting support and direct work with children and young people, helping families to address challenges, build resilience, strengthen relationships and improve wellbeing.
We understand that every family is different, and we tailor our support to meet individual needs. Using a whole-family approach, we work alongside families to build on strengths and develop practical strategies that support positive outcomes for children and young people. Support is typically provided for up to 12 weeks and can take place in the family home or other suitable community settings
