I am a qualified, Accredited Child Adolescent Psychotherapist and Level 8 Clinical Integrated Supervisor. Providing specialized services to children and young people experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties. These challenges may stem from trauma, low self-esteem, or the need for improved coping mechanisms to navigate their realities.
I typically recommend 6–8 sessions, during which significant progress is often achieved. My approach incorporates creative therapies, allowing young people to express themselves through actions and creations rather than words.
Young people often externalize their struggles, while adults tend to internalize theirs. As a bilingual psychotherapist, I am trained to navigate both modes of expression effectively. Children facing trauma, separation anxiety, bullying, attachment issues, or abuse can become emotionally stuck and exhibit erratic behaviors. These challenges are addressed in a safe, honest, and trusting environment.
I work with children and adolescents aged 4–18 across Derry/Londonderry, Waterside, Donegal, and Belfast.
Through play therapy, children engage in play that mirrors the internal struggles they face, enabling them to process and work through their experiences in a supportive and therapeutic setting.
We also remove Trauma and bad memories for Adult and Young People in one session, using a technique Called BWRT.
