Additional Information

Devenish Partnership Forum is a community support organisation that aims to improve the social, economic and environmental infrastructure of four of the estates (Cornagrade, Hillview, Killmacormick I and Kilmacormick II, Enniskillen) estates in partnership with the local residents. Devenish Partnership Forum was established in 1994 as an umbrella body for four local Community Associations in response to an identified need to combat high levels of deprivation within the four estates (Cornagrade, Hillview, Kilmacormick I and Kilmacormick II). The main aim of the Forum is to add value to the whole community through coordination, communication, capacity building and integration. We engage the community in a range of activities: Health activities for residents from the Devenish Area and across the Neighbourhood Renewal (NR) area i.e. walking, fitness class, health information sessions, health fairs. We run the Junior Homework Club for 4-7 year olds as part of this programme delivering homework support and structured play throughout the term time. Nature Reserve – 12 acres of land developed with a range of walks around the site where you can see a range of flora and fanua. Community Allotments site with allotments available for residents to take and grow their own vegetables Support for the community in accessing benefits and raising local issues Positive Peers Programme - We provide a meeting place for teenagers to meet on a Monday to Thursday. This is supervised by a number of youth leaders for the Positive Peers, and it enables the young people to meet in a safe environment. At Drop In, the young people watch dvds, listen to music and generally hang out. They also engage in personal development programmes and get away on trips.
