Transitions supports young people progressing to college
Cedar provides a regional Transition Service that fully involves young people and their families to make decisions about their life after school. This holistic service is aimed at improving a young person’s transition readiness. Recent programmes, training and financial advice workshops have been supporting young people and families with their upcoming plans.
Inclusion Works aims to create and support opportunities for people with disabilities to develop the skills to engage independently in the community and to enhance their health and wellbeing by the delivery/ sourcing of: ·
Inclusion Works is funded by all five local HSCTs in Northern Ireland.

Workable (NI)
Supported Employment Services (SES)
We work closely with employers to identify job opportunities and provide on-going advice and practical assistance to ensure the support needs of both you and your employer are met and that you can work independently.
As part of a partnership of disability organisations, called Supported Employment Solutions (SES), we deliver Workable (NI) which is designed to respond to individual needs and to allow for different types of employment and support.
What is Workable (NI)?
Workable (NI) is available across Northern Ireland and is designed to help you in employment and can help if you are at risk of losing your job as a result of disability or a health condition. You can access the Workable (NI) programme if you wish to work, or are working more than 10 hours per week. Workable (NI) is available to you if you're aged over 16 with a disability or other health conditions and you want to progress into or stay in employment.

SkillSET SkillSET is a new innovative programme of specialist employment preparation and training, for people with a disability / health condition who are economically inactive. Cedar is delivering the service across NI as part of a partnership of seven disability organisations,

Cedar and the Mid Ulster Labour Market Partnership is seeking to engage a range of employers in an Employer-led Disability Inclusion Programme. This will improve companies’ understanding of disability, highlight the benefits of employing people with disabilities and support the companies to fill vacancies.
