The aim of the Dry Arch Children's Centres is the empowerment of family members through the provision of quality support services to enrich and enhance the developmental opportunities of children. The Dry Arch Children's Centres offer a fully integrated approach to providing family support and child care services to all children and families. Services are offered across all levels of the Hardiker model of support from universal, through targeted to specialist and therapeutic services. Training/education and quality development are key elements of the centre's development and set the standard for the centre's own daycare facilities.
At our welcoming location in Legavallon Road, Dungiven—we provide a nurturing “home from home” environment where your child can learn, play, and grow with confidence. Our settings feature bright, spacious indoor rooms paired with secure, age-appropriate outdoor areas, allowing children to explore and play safely in all seasons. Our dedicated and experienced staff are passionate about creating a stimulating yet safe atmosphere that encourages creative play and learning.
By forming strong, caring attachments with each child, we ensure they feel loved, secure, and fully settled in our care. We take great pride in offering a warm, friendly, and caring environment where every child can truly thrive. Our approach is centred around meeting each child’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs with genuine love and attention. Recognizing that every child is unique, we are committed to helping them reach their full potential throughout their early years.
Our Dungiven centre also provides children with the opportunity to participate in “Pre-School Education” during their nursery year, offering 5 sessions per week to prepare them for the next step in their educational journey. Additionally, we run an After School Club at this location, ensuring continuity of care and fun learning experiences beyond school hours. At The Dry Arch Children’s Centre, we strive to create a caring, safe, and stimulating environment that feels just like home—because we know that happy, loved, and secure children grow into confident, capable learners.
