Bryson Family Support is a Home Visiting Service that offers practical and emotional support to families under stress and during difficult times in their lives, especially where this will contribute to keeping children with their families. The overall aim is to enhance parenting skills which will enable them to manage their affairs with more confidence and independence. Referrals come from Family & Childcare Social Work Teams. We work with a family for 3-6 months to promote the well-being of each family as a whole and encouraging familys to work for change. An Assessment is carried out in partnership with the Parents, Family Support Staff and the Social Worker where areas of work and specific outcomes are agreed and these are reviewed throughout the familys journey with the service. Bryson Family Support Services contributes to Child Protection & Safeguarding of Children / Young People. Bryson Family Services also has a Family Contact Service which is based within the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust locality.
