Couple Counselling - Couples can get into difficulty for a number of reasons, including conflict in the relationship, parenting difficulties, problems related to extended families, mental health difficulties, loss and seperation and effects of substance misuse. Couple counsellors will explore the difficulties in the relationship taking note of the couple's stage of life and their family including what is happening in their wider circle. When working with families and couiples our aim is not to take sides or blame. We believe the couple/family has resources for self direction, healing and problem solving and the therapy allows these qualities to emerge and develop.
