The Men’s Advisory Project (MAP) is a specialist charity supporting male victims of domestic abuse across Northern Ireland.
We offer services of support, confidential 1-2-1 counselling, referral, risk and safety planning, access and education around criminal and civil justice measures and group therapeutic programmes of support.
We understand that domestic abuse is not just faced by intimate partners but also within families. Therefore, we support sons, fathers and grandfathers who are also abused by other family members. It is also experienced across all relationships in the population. Those who are older or who have additional vulnerabilities particularly are often overlooked.
