St Colmcille’s Preschool offers a stimulating, attractive environment in a bright and spacious purpose built facility and provides excellent opportunities for learning across all areas of the pre-school curriculum both indoors and outdoors. The Pre-school is an integral part of the community in Ballyhackamore, we welcome all children from the surrounding area. Parents past and present govern the preschool while qualified and knowledgeable staff successfully deliver a high quality preschool education for 48 local children in their immediate pre-school year.
Staff are qualified in using Makata Sign and have experience of working with children with Down Syndrome, Challenging Behaviour, Aspergers, Autism, Speech & Language delay, Severe Allergy conditions and children with additional needs. Highly qualified, experienced staff - most staff are qualified to degree level, including on site Early Years Specialist. 'Very Good' report received by ETI Inspection May 2012. Accreditation Award for providing quality early years service, awarded by Early Years, the organisation for young people.
