When someone close dies by suicide, those left behind have to deal with an overwhelming range of practical and emotional issues. The Northern Health and Social Care Trust is keen to respond to the huge impact that results from the suicide of a loved one and have a bereaved by suicide service to help support families and friends impacted by suicide.
By raising awareness of the help available, it is hoped the Bereaved by Suicide Service will also encourage people who are finding it hard to cope to seek support. The bereavement service provides one to one therapeutic support, group support sessions and community training and awareness workshops. if you would like more information about a bereavement support group in your area, or to be referred to the individual therapeutic support, please contact Danielle on 028 9441 3544.
