We are three insured and registered childminders with years of experience working together to provide home-based childcare with a great family atmosphere. We can provide meals/snacks which are all freshly cooked/prepared using fresh, healthy ingredients. We have all attended various training courses and all have current first aid training. Our aim is to provide a safe, caring, nurturing and fun environment. We believe that childhood is the most important time in a person’s life and we aim to provide a setting in which we can teach children by example to be kind and considerate of each other. We have an open policy - equal opportunity regardless of race, religion etc. We can accept childcare vouchers and also provide school, nursery drop offs/pick ups. We have policies which are compliant with the NICMA minimum standards guidelines and are reviewed annually and shared with assistants and parents including a policy detailing emergency arrangements and complaints procedures. Routine varies from day to day depending which kids we have and what they would like to do. We don’t like to stick to strict routines as we believe children are individuals and their needs/interests change from day to day. We have the following at our childcare setting; Safe playroom with radiator cover and child friendly cupboards with age appropriate toys, games, activities. Separate TV room for limited tv time. Full bookcase for reading time. Fully enclosed back garden with outdoor toys, water table, mud kitchen and sand pit. Area in kitchen for jigsaws, homework, arts and crafts, cooking and making. Guinea pig, budgie and fish for learning about caring for animals (fully supervised). Two double prams and one single buggy for walks to the library, park, playgrounds. Seven seater car (with all ages car seats) for trips to the beach, W5, museum. Three travel cots with extra thick mattresses and individual bedding for each child.
