The Health and Wellbeing Team at Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council work in partnership with a range of statutory, commuity and voluntary organisations within the Borough to deliver a number of projects to support householders and groups.
These include;
Home Safety - aims to raise awareness of hazards in the home, provide advice/information and make onward referrals to support services if required. The home safety check and any equipment* offered are provided free of charge. *Equipment subject to eligibility and availability.
Energy Efficiency - offers advice and guidance to help householders take steps to stay warm, safe and healthy. The service offers a broad range of measures including home visits, onward referrals to energy efficiency schemes (heating and insulation grants) and referrals to support services.
