Reading Rooms - Verbal Arts Centre

Verbal delivers both individual and group Reading Rooms to children aged 8-18 years.

Reading Rooms uses short stories from modern and class literature based around the theme of Resilience. These stories are read by a volunteer to a child or children to help with their well being. The volunteer asks questions at certain parts of the story so that the child has the opportunity to talk and share their own experiences. These questions are designed by a Psychology team in Verbal.
