Mencap Parent and Toddler Group - Belfast

Our Parent and Toddler Group is for parents and carers of children aged 0-3 with a Learning Disability, developmental delay or Autism. Book your place via the Mencap Website (see link above). The earlier children get support, the more likely they are to fulfil their potential. Mencap NI's Family Support Team have set up a Parent and Toddler Group. This will be a drop-in group for families of children with a learning disability or significant developmental delay who are aged 0 to 3. We aim to provide a safe, secure environment for parents or carers to come together and meet other families on a similar journey, while giving their children the opportunity to explore and learn through a range of activities and play. The drop-in group will take place from 10am to 11:30am on the following dates: Wednesday 22 January 2020 Wednesday 5 and 19 February 2020 Wednesday 11 and 25 March 2020 Wednesday 8 and 22 April 2020 Wednesday 6 and 20 May 2020 Wednesday 3 and 17 June 2020. All sessions will take place at Mencap Centre, 5 School Road, Newtownbreda, Belfast, BT8 6BT. Price - There is no registration cost for these sessions. However, we appreciate if you can make a donation of £2 per family to support the work that Mencap does for people with a learning disability, their families and carers, including the Parents and Toddler Group.
