The Community Family Support Programme (CFSP) is a community based, employability programme that works with the whole family to reduce barriers to education, training and employment. The CFSP’s qualified family support and employability mentors actively engage with parents, children and young people to address education, health, social and economic issues, and to increase the employment, education and training opportunities available to individuals and families. The Community Family Support Programme adopts a holistic family approach to Improve family relationships, increase social inclusion, build healthier lifestyles, signpost and facilitate parenting programmes and support, help with behaviour management, assist individuals to increase their confidence , self esteem and social skills. We provide money management and benefits advice, as well as helping individuals to develop new skills through accredited and non accredited education and training. In addition we help individuals to create CVs, conduct job searches and prepare for job interviews as well as much, much more.
