Headway Foyle is a branch of Headway UK that is run by volunteers who all have a personal experience of living with the effects of acquired brain injury or of working with people with a brain injury. Our committee is composed of carers, professionals in the field of brain injury and colleagues from the community and voluntary sector.
Headway Foyle are holding an information session relating to a new service for individuals living with a brain injury and their carers in the Foyle area.
This will take place on Thursday 24th October 2013 at 7:30pm in Foyle Disability Resource Centre, Glen Road, Londonderry, BT4 0BX.
The aims of the event are to inform local people about the benefits of our services and to discuss the way forward.
The services that we will be offering over the coming months will be through a range of events and activities through long term social rehabilitation.
It is hoped that in doing so will offer an outlet where people can meet and share experiences through a tailored outcome based programme of activities and social events.
