Genitourinary Medicine and HIV Clinic - Western Trust

The Western Trust Sexual Health Genitourinary Medicine (GUM) and HIV Services offer a confidential, non-judgemental service that aims to help with all aspects of your sexual health whilst being a welcoming space for those of all genders and sexual identity.

The GUM clinic offers a wide range of services and testing for sexual transmitted infections. If you have no symptoms we can offer a simple ‘check up’ or if you are experiencing genital symptoms such as lumps, bumps, discharge, itchy or discomfort the clinic can provide advice,testing, guidance and treatment.

We offer tests for a wide range for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) including blood tests for HIV, syphilis and Hepatitis B and C. We also offer HIV tests that you can receive your results here in the clinic within 20 minutes. We offer HIV prevention (PEP and PrEP), vaccination to prevent Hepatitis A and B, HPV and Mpox for those who are eligible.

For those already attending our services, if you require any emergency or ongoing contraception that can often also be provided.

We also offer ongoing care for people living with HIV within the clinic. If you are unsure if we can help, give the clinic a call and we can advise you further.
