The Fostering Network;
- Provide high quality advice, support and information through independent support to foster and kinship carers.
- Offer & deliver a comprehensive range of learning and development resources by providing relevant and up to date training-in house, on line, open courses.
- Disseminate to our members a range of relevant and timely information.
- Provide services that assist foster and kinship carers to help children and young people in foster care achieve their potential by promoting educational achievement.
- Provide specific support to young people living in kinship arrangements and their carers
- Delivery of Step up Step Down service, in partnership with local health care Trusts, our homegrown trauma informed, preventative support care service that works intensively with families to ensure fewer children are looked after.
- Influence and shape the development and practice of foster care by working with local, UK governments, statutory services and other agencies.
