Additional Information
Kids together, designs, plans and delivers a wide range of tailored services for families with children and young people who have complex needs. At the same time we always aim to be inclusive with our service delivery and, where and when possible, promote understanding and greater interaction between siblings irrespective of ability / disability.
KT continues to work tirelessly in the promotion of equality of opportunity and diversity of services, both to children with disabilities, siblings’ and their parents / guardians.
1. Rainbow Group – Monday – Friday, 2-3 year olds awaiting assessment and diagnosis. Health Professional referral required
2. Afterschools – Monday – Friday, 3 sessions per day, 4-12 year olds
3. Time-for-me – Saturday, 4 sessions, 4-12 year olds
4. Social/Lego Group – Monday – Friday, 4-12 year olds (Children with ASD or mild learning needs)
5. Youth/ 18+ Group – Monday – Friday, 13-18 and 18+
6. Outreach Support – 4-18 year olds
7. Family Support Team – Monday – Friday
8. Parental Programs/Training, Incredible Years ASD
Our staff have experience of Complex Needs/Disabilities/Behavioural Difficulties.
We provide flexible working hours (through Outreach).
Disability Awareness Training undertaken by staff in this group includes:-
