We provide care and support services for cancer patients and their families; offer a range of cancer prevention programmes to help people lessen their risk of getting cancer; fund scientific research into the causes and treatment of the disease and campaign for better health policy to protect our community and its future.
We run a program to support families affected by an adult with cancer.
The CLIMB (Childrens lives include moments of bravery) program is a group to support children aged 5-11 who have a significant adult with cancer. Parental support groups, One to one work with children and families, Groups for bereaved families, A family night for bereaved families: Belfast, Ballymoney & Armagh district), Memory box work, Writing for the future (supporting families to create memories when someone has a life threatening illness), Youth Parliament: Bereaved teenage group informing decision making. We support children and young people aged between 0-21 years. Referrals can be self referral or by any medical professional.
