Strength 2 Strength is a community-based intervention provided to children, aged 8-13, and their families, who are assessed as being ‘in need’.

HOW DO I ACCESS THIS SERVICE? Referral agents can contact the office in Bishop Street via the telephone or in person where an enquiry form will be completed to ascertain reasons for referral

If the young person meets the criteria the manager will provide the referral agent with a referral form which is completed by both the family and the referral agent and then returned to Extern.

Youth Support A community-based programme offering support to young people aged 12-17 who are deemed at medium to high risk of reception into care or custody through experiencing difficulties at home, in school and/or in the community.

Passport is a community-based intervention programme offering support to young people aged 8-12 who are deemed at medium to high risk of experiencing difficulties at home, in school and in the community. The project provides young people with the opportunity to develop essential life skills and build resiliency.
