Footprints Women’s Centre was established in 1991 and located in the Colin Area of West Belfast, our vision is to empower local people to affect changes that will benefit their lives and those of the wider community. The Centre is the area’s largest community employer and has won many awards for its services, which includes Daycare, family support services, wellbeing programmes, training and education, volunteering opportunities, financial/benefit advice, health and food initiatives including health workshops, garden allotments and a community shop (Social Supermarket). Services include Women Support Services, Women’s Advice and Guidance and Family Empowerment Programmes The Daycare operates as a social enterprise with all profits from the business ‘gifted’ to the centre and used to grow and develop Footprints services.
Children at the centre have access to a large private soft play area and a separate outdoor sensory space which features modern play facilities such as wooden wind-chimes, sandpits and natural exploration areas.
We offer flexible working hours
Our Women’s Centre is open 9am-5pm Monday - Thursday and 9am-2pm Friday
Our Childcare Service is open from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.
