Home Start Omagh District offers support to families with at least one child under 5 in such diverse circumstances as illness, disability, post natal depression, bereavement, loneliness, isolation, multiple births or where life is just a struggle at the moment. We recruit and train volunteers, themselves parents, to visit these families in their homes and offer non-judgemental practical and emotional support and friendship with the aim of helping create a secure childhood for the children. The needs of the children are our priority and our aim is to work with and support the families from an early stage to help improve their life chances and outcomes, with the foundation to grow up to contribute positively to their community.

Office Opening Times
Our core office hours are Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 4.00pm
and when the office is closed an answer phone is in operation. Visits to the office are welcome and encouraged, but please do check before hand to ensure someone is available for a chat.
