Include Youth (Belfast) ; Give and Take

Our Give & Take Scheme improves the employability and increases the self-esteem and confidence of young people aged 16+, who are not ready to take part in a training course, attend college or move into work. Many of these young people have experienced social exclusion, poverty or have other complex challenges in their lives therefore need additional support to overcome their barriers and positively progress into education, training or work. We support more than 400 young people each year through the following five Give & Take Scheme strands: Core:12-month regional programme for care experienced young people aged 16 to 21 who are referred to us through the five health trusts Start: 14-week programme for young people aged 16 to 24 in North Down, Ards and the Greater Belfast areas delivered in partnership with Northern Ireland Alternatives. Outreach: 12-week once a week programme for young people aged 16-24 that need employability support. One to One: a tailored programme for young people who have experienced or are at risk of child sexual exploitation.
