Home Start is a voluntary, home-visiting scheme supporting parents with at least one child under 5, families suffering high levels of social isolation and loneliness with little or no family support. We train parent volunteers to provide support in the home where problems may exist and where confidentiality can be maintained.
We also run two weekly programs in Antrim.
Our Wednesday family group aims to befriend and support parents in a group setting and provide activities that promote healthy child development.
Our weekly baby bank aims to reduce parental stress by passing on valuable baby essentials. The baby bank is open every Tuesday 10am-12pm & Thursday 10am-3pm (closing for lunch 12pm-1pm) in the Castle Mall.
