I have experience of working as a classroom assistant with children with special needs/disability (24 years in total, qualified and trained for Deaf, Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Cerebral Palsy, etc.). I have vast experience with both able bodied and disabled children and my home accommodates both able bodied and disabled. For hearing impaired, I am trained in Cochlear Implants and has vast experience of soundfield systems and hearing aids. First Aid and Child Development courses updated yearly. I'm a member of many organisations, such as, N.I. Dyslexic Ass., Autism N.I. & National Autistic Society, N.D.C.S. and Family Support Groups. My childcare qualifications include P.C.S.C (C.C.E.T.S.W.), Northern Ireland Pre-School Playgroup Cert., Early Years 2 Year Old Developmental Programme, Child Protection and First Aid (plus dozens of other courses available on request).
I only provide afternoon childcare (1pm until 6pm). No drop offs...but will pick up from schools.
I am now in a position to offer weekend childcare.
