Down Royal Day Care (Lisburn)

Down Royal Day Care is a family-owned day care nursery and after school club situated in the idyllic surrounds of Down Royal, Maze. We are perfectly located for families living and working in Lisburn, Maze, Maghaberry, Moira and Hillsborough with close links to the A1 and M1.  

We have 5 rooms; Little Foals (0-12 months), Giddy Ups (1-2 years), Clippity Clops (2-3 years), Pony Club (pre-school wraparound care) and The Stables (after school club for primary school age children) plus 2 cot rooms for babies.  

Our fabulous, enclosed and tree lined playground, The Paddock, contains plenty of space for climbing, cycling, digging in the sand, running, and exploring! Our children enjoy a nutritious breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon snack and our fees also include a limited amount of powdered formula milk per day for babies too.  

We are a warm and welcoming environment, with a friendly team of experienced staff ready to welcome families each day. Our rocking horse mascot, Fergie, is always on hand to welcome new faces too so come in and see us!  

Disabled access : Ramped access, accessible toilet.  

School Pick-up/Drop off at Meadow Bridge Primary School, Busy Bees Playgroup, Maghaberry Primary School Nursery Unit and Downshire Primary School Nursery Unit.  

All staff are allergy awareness trained. Staff with experience working with autism, sensory needs and speech and language difficulties.  

Staff Qualifications/Experience include :- Level 2 CCLD, Level 3 CCLD, Level 5 CCLD, Early Childhood Studies degree qualified, nursing background.  

Registered to provide Out of School places to primary school aged children.  

Open during school closures and holidays for primary school aged children.
