Limavady Diabetes Voluntary Support Group is made up of local people living with diabetes - their families, their friends, their carers, local healthcare professionals and anyone with an interest in diabetes.
The Group's main aim reflects that of Diabetes UK- to strive to achieve a cure for diabetes and in the intermin to improve the care and quality of life of those who have diabetes. This involves funding vital research and campaigning government for improved care.
We encourage those interested to attend our group meetings which are a welcoming and social environment for people to discuss diabetes and its effects. Support and companionship are some of the simplest yet most important aspects of living with diabetes - this is why our group exists and we want to help in any way that we can.
The Group hold bi-monthly meetings on the Fourth Monday of the month at 7.30pm at: LCDI, Roe Valley Hospital. BT49 0AQ
Guest speakers are invited and the meetings are educational, yet informal. We look forward to welcoming you to our next meeting!!
