The Intensive Support Teams remit is to provide support to young people within the safeguarding service who display severe challenging adolescent type behaviours. Behaviours include habitual substance misuse, persistent involvement in criminal behaviour, severe disturbing and, or self harming behaviours and psychological, psychiatric difficulties leading to family disfunction.
