Sure Start is a government led initiative that offers services to all families with at least one pre-school child or a mother to be.
Sure Start South Armagh is a local project and the services it offers aim to deliver the best start in life for every child who lives in one of the following designated wards: Bessbrook, Camlough, Creggan, Crossmaglen, Derrymore, Newtownhamilton and Silverbridge.

Sure Start South Armagh optimises partnership working between statutory, voluntary and community sectors. It enhances the physical, intellectual and social development of babies and young children so that they can flourish at home and when they begin their school journey.
Sure Start run programmes which aims to improve emotional health and wellbeing in children and families, with the objective at this very special time to ensure children and parents enjoy this early stage of childhood by benefiting from the many services provided.
