Additional Information
Home-Start Ards Comber and Peninsula Area offer support to families with at least one child under 5 years, who are experiencing difficulties for a number of different reasons including: Isolation, parents or childrens mental health or well being, parents or children with physical disabilities, multiple births, lone or first time parents, parents experiencing bereavement or relationship difficulties, parents experiencing post-natal illness.
The Respite Playgroup is a Free Service, currently running 1 session per week with 7 children and can, if funded, take 14 per week (2 sessions).
Respite Playgroup runs:
Tuesdays 10am - 2pm (currently funded)
Thursdays 10am - 2pm (when funding available).
Staff childcare qualifications include Btec Diploma and Classroom Assistant/QCF.
Disabled Access - group held on ground floor and sloped pathway access from outside.
We cover Ards and all areas including Ards Peninsula up to Millisle; Comber; Ballygowan and Killinchy.
