SAIL is a family gender support organisation. We work with parents and family members who have children, young people or a family member with gender identity issues. We support the parents so they can support their child or young person. We do this by coordinating peer led family support meetings and liaising with statutory, community and voluntary services and service providers to ensure equity of access to services. Ensuring that individuals can access appropriate and timely information and be correctly signposted. SAIL is a peer led organisation where every member is either Transgender or a family member of someone with gender identity issues. SAIL works with Trans* adults to signpost to services and peer support and advocate for better services support and understanding for people walking the path of Gender Identity in N Ireland.
