New Lodge Duncairn Community Health Partnership has been developing family support services over several years in response to identified community need. These services have been provided in both school and community settings and have concentrated on developing resilience and coping strategies in children and young people as they grow. The funded initiative will focus on children and young people with disabilities, looking g at social isolation, access to health services as well as nutrition and exercise. This will be a sensory programme run in partnership with the 174 Trust. In addition to the CHP and 174 Trust will be facilitating a parents / carers support programme in conjunction with the disability inclusion programme.
