Childcare@YMCA aims to provide a safe, secure, stimulating, caring, fun and child centred environemnt for children, at an affordable cost for parents. We aim to make Childcare@YMCA a 'home from home' for children.
We provide full day care from 7.45am until 6pm, Monday to Friday. We also offer part-time places and out of school care to children aged 2 years to 12 years old.
We offer nursery drop offs and pick ups for our daycare children. At present we pick-up from 10 different schools in the waterside area. We are situated 5 mins from Altnagelvin Hospital.
All staff are trained to a very high standard. We also ensure all mandatory training such as Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection, Fire Training and Basic Food Hygiene are all up to date.
Staff have experience with autism, epilepsy, asthma and epi pen. We are fully accessible, with disabled access/facilities.
