Streetbeat works with young people aged 11-25 in all aspects of their lives in order to help them fulfil their potential. We deliver a wide variety of programmes including personal development group work, drop in, mentoring, counselling and schools work.
The project will deliver on 3 main areas which focus specifically on education, employment and health.
With education we aim to work with young people identified by local schools to be struggling with education attainment and provide them with support and guidance to achieve personal goals.
In employment we will help young people to establish possible career paths, build skills, self-confidence and gain various training certificates to bolster their CV as well as receiving training for job searching and interviews.
The aim of the health training is for young people to learn about diet, healthy lifestyles, and nutrition in addition to engaging in gym / physical activity sessions.
