Please refer to updates to this Guidance from DoH contained in the letters of October 8th 2021 and January 6th 2022 on this website

Department of Health issued Letters on 8th October 2021 and 6th January 2022 giving supplementary Guidance to Childcare Providers on COVID19. Please read these letters (links below) in conjunction with the Guidance for Childcare Settings August 16th. (see below)

The Guidance is effective immediately, and you should take time to review it. Please see paragraphs 21 (in relation to infection control measures) and 61-65 (in relation to advice for close contacts) in particular, which have changed substantially.

Childcare Providers - This guidance will be factored into HSC Trust inspections. Please take time to familiarise yourself with both of the documents, and share them with the parents of all children in your care.  

Please note that this guidance will be updated regularly, so Childcare providers should consult the FSNI website at regular intervals for information and advice.
